This simple statement is so true. We don't know what people are struggling with in their personal/private lives, behind closed doors. I'm finding more and more that our culture only looks at the external appearances of people. And we've stopped looking passed what's in the outsider just because someone appears okay at first glance, doesn't mean they are doing okay emotionally.
I myself, stick to positivity on social media because the junk that goes on isn't for EVERYONE to know.
It's private.
But it is important that we look at each person we encounter and think, if I have emotional turmoil, they must have something they are dealing with.
As human beings, we are flawed and we mess up. And that often leaves someone in the wake of feeling hurt.
