It is always hard to leave loved ones.
Being around the people that we love is so special.
I am extremely grateful that kalebs brother and his wife sacrificed and flew us to Arizona.
We would not have been able to afford this trip without them.
Elijah did quite well considering how he didn't have a routine AT ALL. It's nearly impossible to have a routine when you are away from home. He maybe got one nap in each day.
I have learned many things on this trip. And have been re-reminded of past lessons. It's always nice to have things jump back to the forefront of your brain.
1. Life without God is meaningless
2. People need to love and be loved. Genuinely loved
3. Christian music is a MUST have for me. I struggle internally without it! Plus, the junk on the other radio stations is vulgar and atrocious!
4. Worshipping Jesus is good and helpful anywhere; Even while showering in the Windham Timeshare condo bathroom on a Sunday morning.
5. Forgiveness is important. If you hold grudges and let things fester the wound gets bigger and rotten and bitterness grows. Then people act ugly.
Don't do it.
Forgive.
It is beautiful to see forgiveness!
6. I could live in Arizona, maybe the northern part where it isn't quite so hot.
7. God reaches everyone.
8. Prayers I prayed for people long ago have been answered.
9. Vacationing as a mom is a lot of work but a lot of fun!
10. I now breastfeed wherever, whenever! Don't mess with me!!! I will feed my baby
11. My husband is a gem. This I already knew. But he is always finding new ways to surprise me!!
12. God takes care of His children! I forgot wipes on our trip to the Zoo yesterday! And the gas station didn't have any! A man over heard us trying to find some and ran to his car and came back in with a wad of wipes and gave them to Kaleb! I was in the bathroom alteadyy using paper towels! which by the way doesnt work!!! I nearly started crying! It was such a small beautiful gesture!!
This trip was lovely and much needed!!💕💕
We miss our family in AZ and UT!!
